Our instructors teach from their hearts and souls, and each teacher is sensitive to her students' needs.

Andrea Cirignano discovered yoga during college in 2001 and immediately fell in love with the way the practice balanced her body and mind. Andrea is a recent graduate of the 8 Limbs Teacher Training program, which enhanced her deep interest in both the way the body works from the inside out and from the outside in. She is also very passionate about nutrition and overall wellness and likes to bring a wholesome approach to her personal practice and to the students in her classes.

While teaching, Andrea focuses on breath, alignment, therapeutic benefits, and incorporating asanas into a home practice. Andrea’s goal as a teacher is to expose students to the world of yoga and encourage them to get to know themselves and their bodies to find out where yoga can take them, mentally, physically and emotionally.

Andrea teaches the Tuesday evening Hatha Level I class. To learn more about Andrea, visit her website at yogabyandrea.com.

Shawn Milligan studied yoga since 1991, and received her teaching certificate from 8 Limbs Yoga. Bob Smith, Paul Grilley, and Orit Sen-Gupta have also influenced her practice and teaching style. Yoga continues to change the way she views exercise, and has dramatically increased her respect for the human body and all of its abilities. She enjoys seeing students transform into awe-inspiring teachers as they discover their own interpretations of the practice. Shawn can be reached at 206-310-5704.

Beverly Denny (Sub) became interested in yoga during the late ‘80s after sports-related knee injuries severely limited her activities. Gradually she has moved from yoga purely for exercise to a more mindful practice.

Realizing the potential to help others move and grow through yoga, she recently completed her teacher training with Bob Smih and Ki McGraw at the Hatha Yoga Center in Seattle.

Bev focuses on individual needs and capabilities, integrating breathe, strength and expanding awareness. Each class is a journey to find the quiet within.
