we teach yoga!

Hatha Yoga uses asanas (postures) and conscious breathing (Pranayama) in combination with mental focus to develop awareness, strength and flexibility and relaxation. Through proper alignment and mindful actions of the body, Hatha Yoga brings balance, strength, and a sense of well-being to the practitioner.

Kundalini-Hatha a.m.Yoga classes focus on awakening energy at the base of the spine. Classes include warm-ups and sequences of poses focusing on specific areas of the body. You'll enjoy the class and you'll leave with a sense of grounded well-being.

Back 'n Balance classes integrate yoga with exercises known to gently stretch the back. The slower pace allows students to take their time and let their bodies unwind. Beginner-level yoga asanas are selected to strengthen core and improve balance.

Yin Yoga directs the stimulation normally created in the asana portion of the practice deeper than the superficial or muscular tissues. Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice.

Challenge is an intermediate class that offers an opportunity to try asanas such as inversions and backbends.
